Unreal Tournament

It was the game that defined how all first person shooter games should look and feel. The original Unreal Tournament came out in 1999 and proved to be an instant hint. Like the name suggest, it’s a ‘no holds barred’ fight to the death, by using some of the most interesting weapons. The main selling point of the game revolves around the idea of being able to re-spawn instantly after being killed.

It’s an arcade style shooting game that is bound to keep you entertained for hours. There are several different game modes to choose from that include capture the flag, last man standing, team matches, missions and the Unreal Tournament, which is a combination of these different modes.

Any modern PC should be able to run this game without any issues. And if you are interested, Unreal Tournament is available to purchase through Steam. Check it out here.

Command and Conquer: Yuri’s Revenge

The follow up to the ever popular Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2, Yuri’s Revenge adds its own unique touch to the arcade-style strategy gaming genre. The story mode, picks up where Red Alert 2 left off. You can either play as the Allies or the Soviets. And it is your job to bring down Yuri, who’s hell bent on conquering the world.

The real fun begins when you take part in skirmishes. Here, You pick a side, then build up your army and take down your enemies. Regardless of how sophisticated modern games are, they are unable to match the thrill that games like Yuri’s Revenge offer.

If you want to purchase this, you can do so through Origin’s online store. Check it out here. It’s bundled with several other games, which include Red Alert, Generals, Tiberian Sun etc.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Most believe that GTA 3 defined this genre, but Vice City is still an amazing game that will keep you entertained for hours. Based in the 1980s, the game revolves around Tommy Vercetti, the protagonist of the game’s main story. Through a series of missions you rise from being a petty thug to an actual gangster with property throughout the city.

The intriguing story-line is based on a mashup of several different mafia movies from that period. Each mission has its own unique set of challenges, which should keep you hooked for hours. GTA IV and V are leaps and bounds better in terms of story depth, graphics and gameplay, but Vice City still holds a special place in our hearts.

It’s an intriguing open world, ‘free to roam’ style game that allows you to cause as much pandemonium and mayhem as your heart desires. Vice City can be purchased through Steam as well, but it’s also available on Android. If you are into mobile gaming, it can be purchased through the play store.
