June 28, 2021Sony has announced the XAV-9500ES, which is the first high-definition audio receiver to join Sony’s Mobile ESTM lineup. In addition to Sony’s first wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connections, the 9500ES sports a sleek, high-definition display and high-quality sound.
Here’s what you should expect:
High-resolution Audio Compatible: With high-resolution audio, you can enjoy the subtleties of studio-quality sound. With the 9500ES, you’ll be able to play through native 192 kHz / 24 bit WAV, FLAC, ALAC audio files, and DSD (22,4MHz) files through 192 kHz / 24 bit PCM conversion.
ESS Digital-to-Analog Converter: The quality of sound you would normally find on high-end home audio products is the same on this device. By using ESS DAC chips, the 9500ES offers high-performance processing and eliminates timing jitter, resulting in unsurpassed dynamic range and low harmonic distortion.
Built-in Premium 4-channel Class A/B Amplifier: An updated circuit block, patterns, and components minimize interference in the overall amplifier block to provide decent audio quality. While two dedicated power circuit blocks are included for left and right channel amplification, the overall amplifier block remains unchanged.
Anti-resonance Dual-layer Chassis: By separating analogue and digital circuitry, the chassis prevents electrical disturbances and ensures uncompromised sound quality. Throughout the lower layer, circuit boards dedicated to audio and analog processes are stored, while the shielded layer above separates the digital circuit boards.
Sound Customization: 192 kHz / 24-bit DSP provides pristine sound processing and precise time alignment down to an astounding 1 cm for every one of the six addressable channels. A 14-band EQ makes it easy for customers to adjust the overall sound to their musical taste.
High-Definition Display With the new 10.1″ high-definition capacitive touch screen, it offers better picture quality and easier operation. Unlike conventional displays, it’s built directly into its protective glass touch layer with an adhesive. The result is a highly precise touch experience coupled with enhanced vision.
Smart Connectivity
Wireless Connection: Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi and the GPS antenna provided with the device, users don’t need to leave their smartphones at home but still have full access to features.
Wireless Apple CarPlay: With Apple CarPlay, iPhone users can sync their phones with their car stereo and access music, send and receive messages, and get optimized directions while using their car audio.
