ColorOS 12 encourages users to use it creatively with fun 3D animated Omojis, to multitask their daily schedules, and to manage documents and media files. It enables users to have better control over their mobile experiences. Here are five tips and tricks on how to make the most of ColorOS 12.

PC Connect
PC Connect allows users to connect their smartphones with compatible Windows computers at transfer speeds up to 45 MB/s. The app has features such as sharing screens, transferring files, and synchronizing notifications.

Reducing Visual Noise
The idea behind ColorOS 12 has been to reduce visual noise. A simplified layout has been created by fine-tuning colors and adjusting density so that key information stands out.

One-tap Power Saving
Users of ColorOS 12 can extend battery life with a single tap by detecting power consumption issues. There are several power saving options under the Battery Settings page highlighting how much power can be saved by closing certain apps or disabling certain functions.

Just by tapping on these options, the power-saving options will be applied. The ColorOS 12 software offers even more power-saving options, including the ability to disable background activities, enable auto-brightness, disable high performance mode, disengage 5G, disable GPS, set the auto-screen-off time to 30 seconds, and more.


Phone Manager
Optimizing through the Phone Manager app, ColorOS 12 gives users an enhanced sense of control over their device. The Phone Manager is divided into two tabs: Home and Tools. A security score is displayed on the Home tab.

This also provides access to other frequently used security features such as privacy permissions, app management, battery health, block and filter. The Tools tab allows users to manage apps, set privacy protection, manage data, protect themselves, and manage the security of their devices.

Multitasking is easier with FlexDrop, helping to increase productivity and ease of use. For managing multiple apps at the same time, you can resize the app window to a smaller size or to a mini window. Users will be able to switch between different apps seamlessly with just a single tap, which is most beneficial for its users.
