All-In-On Microwave Oven Could Be Your Ticket To Best Cooked Meal At Christmas

December 23, 2021 Off By Naveen Victor

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, for me at least. It’s a time when everything feels right with the world because of great food, festive decorations, family gatherings and nostalgic Christmas carols playing on repeat. But as much as I look forward to the holiday season, there are times when the entire ordeal can seem a little frustrating.

It isn’t really Christmas until there’s a delicious spread laid out on the table before you consisting of every available food group you can think of. That’s why Smasung’s Convection Microwave Oven could be a lifesaver. It’s an all-in-one solution for food preparation as it has the ability to air fry, grill, bake, steam and microwave meals.

The oven comes with a Crusty Plate that is designed to heat up food while preserving the natural elements of every dish. It is designed to drain oil easily but can also be used with oil with the Air Fry or grill modes. This is a healthier option for people who want to enjoy the festivities but aren’t willing to pile on the Christmas weight.

Samsung’s 35-litre oven uses HotBlast technology which can help reduce cooking time. It does this by blowing hot air through multiple air-holes directly onto the food, so it’s evenly cooked. This tech combines both microwave and convection heat sources to reduce the time needed to fully prepare a meal.

The Oven has a ceramic enamel finish on the interior chamber, which is supposed to be scratch resistant and easy to clean. It also exhibits non-stick properties which prevents splashes and spills from staining the compartment. A simple wipe with a cleaning cloth can remove any residue without the need for extra force or additives.

There’s an Auto Cook feature that takes the tedium out of preparing a meal. All you have to do is create the meal with the necessary ingredients, select from a range of pre-set cooking modes, then the oven will go to work preparing an evenly cooked meal.

The following are some recommended recipes to use with this particular microwave oven:

Stuffed Baked Potatoes (Serves 4)

Ingredients
4 large potatoes, scrubbed
4 knobs of butter
1 capsicum, finely diced
1 ½ cups grated cheese

Method

  • Prick the potatoes with a fork.
  • Wrap in paper towels and microwave on high for about 10 minutes until soft.
  • Using a knife, cut a horizontal slit across each potato.
  • Scoop out some of the potato into a bowl. Using a fork, mash this with some butter.
  • Add capsicum and cheese with the potato mixture and mix until combined.
  • Scoop this mixture back into the potato shells.
  • Place the potatoes in a bowl and microwave for about 1½ minutes until the cheese melts.

Veggie Lasagne (Serves 4)

  • Preheat the Crusty Plate that comes with your Samsung Convection Microwave Oven. Grill the aubergine slices with olive oil for 4 minutes, turning once.
  • Using the remaining pasta sauce, spread a small amount on the base of a flat microwave-proof dish.
  • Cover with a layer of aubergine, then a lasagne sheet, and bechamel sauce. Repeat the layers.
  • Finish with a layer of bechamel sauce and sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Microwave on convection mode for 15 minutes until lasagne is cooked. Leave to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
