Apple has announced the best apps in its ecosystem for this year. All these programs have made a meaningful impact in some way in 2019. Take a look at the winners and let us know if you agree with Cupertino’s choices.

iPhone App of the year : Spectre Camera (Lux Optics)
It’s an AI-powered app that converts long-exposure photos.

iPad App of the year : Flow by Moleskine
A notebook app that users can draw and sketch in, then, these sketches can be tuned to mimic the real thing.

Mac App of the year: Affinity Publisher (serif Labs)
This is a pro-level design app that is accessible to everyone. It doesn’t matter what you intend on creating, because the tools at your disposal allow for the creation of some amazing designs.

Apple TV App of the year: The Explorers
It’s purpose is to support the community of explorers, scientists and artists by creating a “Visual inventory” with an extensive collection of photos and videos.

App Trend of 2019: Storytelling Simplified
For 2019, the following apps helped create amazing stories through the use of photos and videos: Anchor (Anchor FM), Canva: Stories & Video Maker (Canva), Unfold (Unfold Creative), Steller (Expedition Travel Advisor), Spark Camera (Dayworks), Over (Over,Inc) and Wattpad (Watt Corp) giving people opportunity to express themselves through all these app.
