Apple’s famed Health Records feature is now available within the Health app for users in the UK and Canada. This will allow them to store and view their medical records on their iPhones. It’s convenient way to help them keep track of their medical data, securely. Oxford University Hospitals and Women’s College Hospital are among the first to make this feature available to their patients.

Said feature has been available to US customers for quite a while. over 500 institutions support Health Records, with listing for more than 11,000 care locations. This feature takes a lot of the tedium out of having to scour each healthcare provider’s website for your required health data.

“We designed Health Records on iPhone to empower people to easily view their health records at any time, and we are thrilled to put this feature in the hands of customers in the UK and Canada,” said Kevin Lynch, Apple’s vice president of Technology.

Health Records is a one-stop-solution that bridges the connection between medical institutions and a patient’s iPhone. The app is able to provide information on patients’ allergies, conditions, immunizations, lab results, medications, procedures, and vitals across multiple institutions, and be notified when their data is updated.
