Compact IR Thermometer Designed For School Buses

Pro-Vision has developed a contactless IR thermometer for simple temperature screening on school buses or placed at entrances to buuildings. The relatively small standalone system that runs off of a lithium ion battery or can be powered via a 12V USB power outlet. The device can be mounted on surfaces with 3M adhesive tap or with high strength magnets.

Once the device has completed a scan, it provides an audible and visual notification for irregular temperature readings. Though this is no different from other IR temperature scanners, but its compactness and ease of installation/use make it a practical solution for the fight against COVID-19.
