Design Leads Explain Thought Process Behind Galaxy Z Flip3
August 19, 2021Samsung should be commended for its efforts with the Galaxy Z Flip3. It’s a much needed improvement over its predecessor thanks in part to the better build quality and IPX8 certification. The phone has helped restore our faith in foldables.
Though it retains the basic recipe of the original Fold, its metal frame is stronger, the hinge has a more robust feel to it, software has matured and the CoverScreen is far more useful than before.
The 1.9-inch screen can be used to view several notifications at a time, set wallpaper and animations that can be synced with the Galaxy Watch4, and used as a preview screen when taking a selfie.
