Privia PX-S series of digital pianos, part of Casio America, Inc.’s line of pianos, now offers the PX-S1100, the newest member of the company’s award-winning PX-S series.

As the successor to the PX-S1000, the PX-S1100 boasts features and sound that are far above its price range. In its slimmest body, the new model boasts a stylish design and stunningly realistic piano sound, making it the ideal instrument for home recording studios and stage performances alike.

MINIMALIST AND ELEGANT DESIGN
With its sophisticated design and world’s slimmest depth, the new Casio PX-S1100 makes the most of Casio’s advanced technology. The PX-S1100 has a mirror-like control panel, with gold accents and three different color variations-black, white, and red. Setting the piano is done through touch buttons that disappear when it is turned off. Aside from that, the PX-S1100 has the easiest interface in the Privia family.

AUTHENTIC PIANO SOUND AND FEEL
Despite its slim body, the PX-S1100 feels like a grand piano with its weighted action that is a little heavier in the lower range and gradually becomes lighter as the player ascends the keyboard. Acoustic piano harmonics are reproduced more accurately with improved string resonance.

Tuned for warmer tones, the precisely positioned speakers make the PX-S1100 sound better, while AiR Sound Source morphing ensures a sense of ambience, localization, and clarity. This sophisticated sound engine reflects changes in volume and timbre so users can easily transition from gentle, delicate playing to dynamic, powerful performances while maintaining the highest level of musical expression.

CONNECTIVITY, EITHER WIRED OR WIRELESS
PX-S1100 distinguishes itself from its competitors owing to its optional WU-BT10 adapter, which adds Bluetooth MIDI and audio capabilities, allowing users to enjoy wireless connectivity with compatible Bluetooth devices and turn the piano into a Bluetooth speaker. In addition to facilitating self-learning, this upgrade allows users to go on a music-production journey by enabling them to play along with their favorite songs and hear everything they do through the Privia’s high-fidelity speakers.

“The PX-S1100 by Casio provides the sound and feel of a concert grand piano at an unprecedented value”, according to Stephen Schmidt, Vice President of Casio’s Electronic Musical Instruments Division.

With the Chordana Play for Piano app, all the piano functions can be controlled from your tablet (connected via Bluetooth or a USB cable) and you can take part in interactive lessons in real time, making learning music more enjoyable. PX-S1100 will be available for purchase in September at music stores nationwide and at CasioMusicGear.com.
