Samsung’s signature musical theme Over the Horizon, performed by SUGA, is available for download exclusively at Samsung.com on the Galaxy Z Fold3 | Z Flip3 5G page. A release date will be announced for August 30th in the US and August 31st in Korea, followed by more global releases in early September 2021.

Samsung created a signature sound ten years ago with the intention of motivating people to strive for greater heights. Galaxy S series has been reimagined every time a new edition is released. The Galaxy Z Series’ tune was composed by beloved musical artist SUGA for its tenth anniversary.

SUGA spoke about the meaning of Over the Horizon in the recent Voices of Galaxy campaign. “It was an honor to work on a song that has been part of Galaxy’s 10-year history. Simply by its melody, everyone immediately recognizes it as the Galaxy theme song,” he said. “And as the title indicates, it’s about going beyond our limits.” It is impossible to predict what will unfold, but our dreams propel us forward.”

The theme was introduced in 2011 on the Samsung Galaxy S2, and has kept progressing with new designs. Over the Horizon has seen various styles and styles of composition. In this tenth anniversary year for the tune, Samsung is inviting SUGA to create the theme. The latest version, first heard at Galaxy Unpacked in August 2021, will be available to download worldwide starting today.

A future software upgrade will also allow users to have the theme as a ringtone.
