The Samsung Galaxy Book series, launched at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, has been developed in collaboration with Intel – the company’s long-term, trusted partner.

Ultra-thin form factor with high performance
Samsung and Intel have collaborated to create a new category of connected devices that deliver the best connectivity to today’s mobile-first consumers. The Galaxy Book series represents the culmination of thousands of hours of collaboration between two teams.

Galaxy Book series with eleventh generation Intel CoreTM processors and Intel® Iris® Xe graphics are designed to simplify, smooth, and make everyday tasks easier for consumers. As part of this collaboration, Samsung engineers worked hand-in-hand with Intel engineers to ensure the two devices were Intel EVO-certified, ensuring they delivered the performance users expect.

Samsung and Intel are developing new Galaxy Books with SmartThings Find capabilities, as a means of achieving seamless connectivity across devices. SmartThings Find was not only integrated into Galaxy Books, but also produced a blueprint for future collaborations.

In order to deliver the new Samsung feature in record time, Intel and Samsung have worked closely together to develop it. Moving forward, Samsung will continue to biuld on this product portfolio with introduction of new devices.

Built for the New Normal
With virtual connections becoming increasingly important to people in both their work and personal lives, Samsung and Intel engineers focused on creating new ways to enhance collaboration for their Galaxy Book series.

The Intel® GNA 2.0, which is based on the latest generation of artificial intelligence, is used for Intelligent Noise Cancelling to remove distracting background noises, such as doorbells and vacuum cleaners, from audio and video calls.

Connecting the world with devices
Intel’s Galaxy Book series sets a new chapter in their partnership. Not only did the experience lead to a series of category-defying devices, but it paved the way for the next phase of innovation.
