Embracing Tech Is Key To Lunar New Year Celebrations

This Lunar New Year will be quite different from those that preceded it. Stay at home orders and WFH environments have greatly limited our movements. As a result we have been barred from travelling, gathering in large numbers and sharing a meal together.

The unprecedented restrictions will prevent many of us from our annual activities that include coming together as family, regardless of how far apart we are. Some may reside in other states or even abroad, but making the journey home is part of the excitement.

But COVID-19 is the reason why this year’s celebrations will be a more somber affair. But all is not lost because if we choose to embrace modern technology, it will allow us to overcome obstacles that seem insurmountable to many others. And that is the case here.

Samsung Malaysia and Jinnyboy have put something together that will reawaken our memories – it’s called The Last Dance. Created as a short film about traditions and family challenges as well as respect and progress. It’s a portrayal of resilience in the midst of uncertainty.

This helps send a message to people that to face challenges, all we need is some faith and help from those around us. The Last Dance tells us that as long as we remain strong together, nothing can stop us from enjoying some of life’s greatest gifts – hope, joy and family.

Perhaps this special film will help you appreciate the little things that bring you joy, and remind us to appreciate what really matters. We only have but one life, and we should make the most of it.
