Samsung is quite the innovator. This is evidenced by the numerous devices that have been introduced in the last two years. Though all eyes are on the foldable ones at the moment, it’s important to note that the Korean company makes some pretty amazing TVs. Not content with producing regular run-of-the-mill boxes, it has conceived a new way for us to enjoy the same content.

Revealed last year, the new trio of smart TVs, The Sero, Serif and Frame aim to change our perception of what a television should be. Samsung believes that TVs should conform to an individual’s needs and wants, instead of how things are now. That’s why it is going gung-ho on the concept, and hoping to win over many.

Each of the three TVs, serve very different functions. though in essence, they’re still just televisions, but its the way that they display content that makes them unique. This, coupled with the fact they look pretty special, allow them to ‘fit in’ with the rest of the decor. Here’s what they can do:

It can cycle between portrait and landscape mode based on the movement of your smartphone. The point of this, is to provide smartphone users with more screen real estate, with which they can enjoy their content.

The Sero, a QLED TV, has been launched in Malaysia for a price of RM6,999. If you’re interested to know more, visit www.samsung.com/my/tvs/the-sero-ls05t/

The Frame
Its name says it all. The Frame serves many functions. Not only is it extremely portable, but its relative thinness allows anyone to hang it on a wall as a digital art display. Throughout the day, it can cycle through various artwork, all displayed in vivid imagery and decent brightness.

The Frame features QLED tech, which enables the display to offer realistic colour recreation in dark and bright scenes with Quantum Dot tech. That’s not all, the Frame comes with multiple voice assistants pre-installed, which are: Bixby, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
