Samsung has announced a new software update for the Galaxy S10e, S10+ and S10 5G that introduces more of the Galaxy Note 10 features to its S line of phones. S10 users will now benefit from Note 10 functions and enjoy access to a multitude of features that were once reserved for the Galaxy Note phones.

Here some of the features we can expect to see trickle down to the S10 family:

Better connectivity
Galaxy S10’s latest software update brings more than just a streamlined and seamless user experience. Now users can quickly search their favorite photos through the gallery by just using keywords.

Users can enjoy streaming their favorite songs, movies or TV shows with the new improved search. And the app will suggest other multimedia content that the user might enjoy. The addition of Media Devices to Quick Panel, give users easy access to their favorite content.

Auto Hotspot will transform the Galaxy S10 into a Wi-Fi hub. After the initial setup, the Galaxy S10 will automatically establish a hotspot with other Samsung devices once access has been granted. Troubleshooting guides and alerts are readily available to help users learn their way around the new features. There are also Wi-Fi tips to ensure users’ hones are kept secure and encrypted.

The sky is the limit
Now Galaxy S10 users can create their own ideas for videos with fun drawings without the need for the S Pen. AR Doodle function coupled with the enhanced camera provide fun and more stable videos. Users can enjoy every moment without worrying about shaky clips. They can also capture crystal clear selfies after dark with Night Mode enabled on the front camera.

All in One device
S10 users can now edit pictures and videos that they have captured, just like on the Note 10. The Galaxy S10’s Video Editor Feature, is feature rich, allowing them to create amazing content. When connected via the DeX functionality, S10 users can enjoy a PC-like experience with nothing more than a single PC monitor.
