August 7, 2020The new Galaxy Buds Live’s design is a major departure from the current Buds and Buds+’s. These bean shaped earpieces are far more aesthetically pleasing, borrowing cues from cosmetic jewelry for its svelte case design and glossy finish.

They have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), 12mm speakers and 3 mics that are supposed to be better at picking audio. Samsung says that they also have ‘bass ducts’ a feature that is supposed to enhance lower frequency sounds. Could this be an audiophile device?
These peculiar looking earbuds could offer a better fit since they are contoured to rest properly on the outer ear. That said, the only way we will know for sure, is after the completion of our review. They are rated for 6 hours of battery life, 21 hours when assisted by the charging case. Though this isn’t ground breaking, its inline with other earbuds of its ilk.
Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Live have an accelerometer, touch sensitive surface and Bluetooth 5.0. As such, it could support gesture control and the ability to pause music when an earbud is removed.
