Get A Goodnight’s Sleep With Galaxy Watch5 Series
March 20, 2023Getting a good night’s sleep can be a challenge for many of us. With hectic work schedules, social activities, and constant connectivity to digital devices, it’s not surprising that quality sleep can often take a back seat. However, Samsung is stepping up to the plate and bringing sleep to the forefront of our health and wellness conversations.
The Galaxy Watch 5 series has emerged as a popular trend in sleep monitoring. With approximately 50% of Galaxy Watch users tracking their sleep patterns at least once a week, and 40% of them doing so more than three times a week, Samsung is making it easier for people to build good sleep habits. By better understanding your sleep patterns, it becomes easier to improve and maintain them, leading to a healthier night’s sleep.
So how does Samsung help us understand our sleep patterns? With the Galaxy Watch’s BioActive Sensor, it monitors our unique sleeping patterns, including when we are awake when we achieve deep sleep, and our blood oxygen level. It presents the results in a user-friendly, easy-to-understand way in the Samsung Health app the following morning.
But Samsung doesn’t stop there. The company offers a personalized Sleep Coaching Programme that tracks our sleep patterns over seven days and assigns one of eight sleep symbol animals to represent it. The program then sets us on a path to develop healthy habits and routines to achieve a good night’s sleep more consistently. It tracks our daily activities and provides tips and guidance on how to better manage them, from exercise and nutrition to mindfulness and health monitoring.
Environmental factors can also impact our sleep, such as screen light or room temperature. Samsung addresses this with the ability to reduce distractions from our mobile devices by automatically syncing Sleep Mode between our Galaxy smartphone and Watch. It mutes notifications, changes the phone background to grayscale, turns off Always On Display, and ensures that the Galaxy Watch will not activate when we touch the display or move our wrist.
Furthermore, the Galaxy Watch can track when we fall asleep each night and automatically close bedroom blinds or turn off lights and air conditioning. We can control a wide range of settings with SmartThings, allowing us to optimize our sleep environment for better quality rest.
Samsung is bringing much-needed attention to the importance of healthy sleeping habits. With its Galaxy Watch 5 series and Sleep Coaching Programme, Samsung is making it easier for us to understand our unique sleep patterns and develop healthy habits and routines to achieve a good night’s sleep. By taking steps to optimize our sleep environment and making sleep a priority, we can make a positive impact on our overall wellness.
