Earlier this year, TikTok introduced the TikTok Shop Shopping Center, a centralized hub where users can easily discover promotions, campaigns, flash sales, and a wide array of products from TikTok Shop merchants. This integrated approach has created a more enhanced and convenient shopping experience for users, as they can manage their orders all within one tab.
One of the key goals of TikTok Shop in Malaysia has been to boost the local economy and provide unparalleled support to small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The platform has actively reached out to SMEs through education and training programs, becoming instrumental in the success stories of many local businesses. In fact, over the past six months, there has been a remarkable 78% increase in SME sellers onboarded onto TikTok Shop.
Wilson Leong, the FMCG category director of TikTok Shop Malaysia, expressed his excitement about the platform’s growth and its impact on sellers and the community. To mark its first-year anniversary, TikTok Shop is hosting the Happy Big Day 6.6 Campaign, a celebration to reward its shoppers for choosing to shop on the platform. The campaign includes enticing offers such as themed 66% vouchers and RM66 off selected items. There will also be a spotlight on selected brands and daily opportunities to win special prizes through TikTok Shop live sessions.
