Huawei has recently added the MateBook D 16 to its laptop family. The new addition is powered by 12th gen Intel Core processors, and is aimed at offering better office productivity and multitasking experience. It comes with software features to help control multiple devices using a single machine, which could prove to be very useful for WFH folks.

There’s also support for Multi-Screen Collaboration, Mirror Mode and convenient file transfer features, to complete your office setup. Huawei has a decent track record when it comes to making such productivity features work nicely with third party hardware, so the MateBook D 16, shouldn’t behave any differently.

The laptop gets a 16-inch FullView display that Huawei says fits in the dimensions of a 15.6-inch machine’s body. Though the company hasn’t revealed much in terms of pricing, we do know that you could choose between having either 16GB RAM with 512GB storage or 8GB option with 512GB storage. The only color option available is Mystic Silver.

An optimized keyboard helps improve the overall typing experience. It has a 1.5mm high key travel with soft landing for a more comfortable user experience. The keyboard also has individual physical shortcut keys to help access frequently used functions.

Apart from this new laptop, Huawei is preparing for its Smart Office APAC launch event that is due to take place on 27th July 2022. It’s supposed to showcase futuristic and innovative technologies for the masses meant to boost productivity and improve usability. Stay tuned for more information.
