Leaked video surfaces of Samsung Unpacked

UPDATE: Samsung has officially confirmed the event!

This might be one of the first gaffes in tech of the new decade. Samsung unintentionally revealed information regarding an unpacked event scheduled to take place on February 11th, 2020. Rumor has it that at this particular event, the S10’s successor will be revealed.

A short promo video of the event was published on vimeo but kept unlisted. Max Weinbach from XDA Developers and @water819, stumbled across this short clip in their video feed. It could point to the impending launch of two new phones from Samsung.

According to Weinbach, all three videos (same video but with different aspect ratios) were unlisted, but could still be viewed. Samsung may have been unaware of this, which was probably why such a clip surfaced in the first place.

The rumor mill is swirling with stories of the introduction of a new foldable phone as well as the successor to the S10, which might not be called the S11. Whatever the case maybe, 2020 is starting out to be a busy year for Samsung.

The company just unveiled two new smartphones that are based on its current flagship devices, the Note10 and S10. They are the Lite versions of their namesake, and are said to feature ‘close’ to high end specs but at more affordable prices.
