OPPO’s A76 Is Now Priced At RM899, What Do You Get?

OPPO’s latest A series smartphone, the A76, will be on sale in Malaysia beginning on 19th February 2022. The device has a 6.56-inch punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate as well as a 5000mAh battery.

It supports OPPO’s 33W SUPERVOOCTM charging technology, which provides users with the necessary flexibility to remain untethered for as long as possible throughout their busy schedule.

The Design
In addition to being visually stunning, the Glow Design of the OPPO A76 feels great in the hand. OPPO offers it in two colors, Glowing Blue and Black.

The OPPO A76 comes with a 6.56-inch HD display with an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 89.9%, thanks to OPPO’s punch-hole display technology. The fingerprint sensor sits on the side of the phone. Overall. the phone is lighter, thinner, and looks more refined than its predecessor.


The Battery
A 5-minute charge to the OPPO A76 allows for 3.5 hours of phone calls. OPPO has also increased battery efficiency with features like Super Power Saving Mode, Super Nighttime Standby, and Optimized Night Charging, thus providing users with a hassle-free and long-lasting experience.

The OPPO A76, powered by Qualcomm SnapdragonTM 680, has 6GB + 128GB of memory and up to 1TB of microSD card storage. OPPO’s RAM Expansion feature allows users to alleviate performance bottlenecks with memory-limited devices with the A76.

ColorOS 11.1 on the OPPO A76 offers a number of useful features such as Bullet Screen Message, FlexDrop, Three-Finger Translation with Google Lens, and Privacy Enhanced Features. With System Booster, the phone is optimized on a technical level, ensuring smooth functionality. Link Boost 2.0 lets users enjoy low latency, high-speed internet while always being connected intelligently.


The Camera
This OPPO phone offers an 8MP front camera with a pixel size of 1.12um, an aperture of f2.0, and a resolution of 3264 x 2448.

AI uses natural retouching; this technology enhances the beauty of the front camera by removing blemishes while still preserving the user’s facial features. The 360° fill light feature helps brighten and clarify portrait shots in dim lighting, while beauty effects are superimposed on top.

Users will be able to shoot shallow depth-of-field shots using the rear dual-camera setup, a 13MP f2.2 main sensor on top and a 2MP secondary bokeh camera on the bottom, which uses a blurred edge processing to add more authentic detail to bokeh and the background.

In addition to 6x digital zoom, the camera is capable of continuous bursts of up to 20 shots. It’s possible to capture details in dark areas even when shooting in low-lit conditions.
