Samsung has announced a new partnership with YellowKormer, which is a well-known art photography collective for the latter’s collection of photographs to be included in the Art Store. This will allow users of The Frame to download and admire the artwork on their 4K screens. These fully functional TVs are able to display high quality images that mimic their real-life counterparts.

The 2021 version has even slimmer bezels at 24.9mm, which Samsung says mirrors the depth of a traditional picture frame – hence the name. The model comes in 7 different screen sizes ranging from 32 to 85-inches. They offer QLED 4K picture quality and thanks to a brightness sensor, can adjust screen brightness and tone to compensate for ambient lighting conditions.

Samsung’s Art Store currently has over 1,6000 works of art from 600 different artists. The Frame users can display them their crips 4K screens in full detail. The collection comprise work from around the world that are displayed in museums and galleries like:

  • Albertina Museum in Vienna
  • Hermitage State Museum in Saint Petersburg
  • Prado Museum in Madrid
  • Tate Modern in London
  • Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam
  • LUMAS
  • Samsung’s partnership with YellowKorner will allow the latter to offer curated photographs for users to experience breathtaking artwork in great detail. The Frame will also be displayed in some YellowKorner’s art galleries in France. And the duo is also collaborating with emerging artists to hold exhibitions in Paris to democratize art photography.
