Samsung S20 Ultra teardown by iFixit

Samsung’s Galaxy S20 Ultra is an absolute beast of a phone. It’s packed with cutting edge tech, the best of which, is the 108MP camera sensor and the 100x zoom capability. This, along with the telephone 48MP and 12MP Ultra Wide camera, allow the phone to capture immense detail in every picture that’s taken.

Aside from that, the S20 Ultra also has the latest mobile hardware currently on sale. It has a Snapdragon 865, 12GB RAM and copious amounts of storage space. There’s nothing else on the market that can rival this phone. But how much do we know about this phone besides what’s stated in its datasheet?

iFixit, the internet’s favorite teardown guru, has taken a crack at dissembling the S20 Ultra, to see first hand, what makes it tick. The entire painstaking process has been documented in its YouTube video below. Though they managed to successfully take it apart, the iFixit team only gave the S20 Ultra a score of 3/10 on the repairability scale.
