Samsung’s Extra Smart Monitor Is Here

Samsung’s new Smart Monitor provides an expansive canvas for work, play or entertainment and is designed to meet the needs of today’s consumers who are working, working out, learning or just relaxing in the comfort of their own home.

It provides numerous connectivity options for both PCs and smartphones. A connection with a personal mobile device can be established with a simple tap using Samsung Connect, Apple AirPlay 2 and App Casting. For a full desktop-like experience, you can take advantage of Samsung DeX.

For office and studying, this display allows for access to all the Office 365 applications through embedded Wi-Fi technology, so users can view, edit, and upload files directly from the document itself, without having an actual computer connection available. In addition to accessing files remotely from a PC, Remote Access also allows you to view content from your laptop anywhere in the house or when you are at the office.

The USB Type-C port is capable of 65W paired with a single cable connection. The monitor has multiple USB ports, Bluetooth 4.2 and built-in two channel speakers. In addition to that, it has an integrated SmartHub with the ability to stream content directly from your TV.

The monitor’s app store lets users stream their favorite content irrespective of being connected to the PC or a mobile device, including Netflix, HBO and YouTube. Content can be accessed easily with the optionally available remote control, which includes streaming service hot keys. A voice interface also powers the on-screen display thanks to Bixby integration.

Smart Monitor comes with adaptive eye comfort viewing, which automatically adjusts picture quality based on the light and color temperature of whatever environment it is in. The monitor features an eye care mode to reduce blue light and ease eyestrain after extended use.

There are two models of the monitor available in Malaysia. The M7 supports Ultra-High Definition (UHD) resolution in 32-inch, and the M5 supports Full HD (FHD) resolution in 32-inch and 27-inch model.
