Samsung’s Working Toward A Better Future

BTS and Samsung Galaxy shared the idea of driving a positive impact for the environment during the launch of the Galaxy Unpacked 2022. Over images of giant pools of plastic in the seas projected onto a screen behind them, BTS members silently held up placards with dire messages about the impact of plastics in the oceans and waste in the discarded.

The entire product lineup would benefit from repurposed ocean-bound plastics, starting with Samsung’s Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8 series devices. Samsung continues its efforts to eliminate single-use plastics and use more environmentally friendly materials, such as recycled post-consumer material (PCR) and recycled paper. Galaxy technology will deliver better environmental impact and leading product design as a result of this transformation.
