Stadia Gets New Games and Crowd Play Functionality

Google’s Stadia is steamrolling into 2021 with the addition of new games to its online platform. The cloud based gaming service main objective is to entice gamers who prefer to forgo the hassle of having to maintain a physical gaming machine. Instead, Stadia’s servers do the heavy lifting, leaving your phone, tablet or PC with the task of displaying its content.

This way, more people are drawn to the world of gaming and with a single monthly fee, get to enjoy all their best games. Cyberpunk 2077, the long-awaited role-playing action game has finally hit the platform. Announced in 2013, it features an open world environment, allowing players to roam about aimlessly or delve into the story mode by engaging in various missions.

Now with Crowd Play Beta, YouTube live stream viewers can join into a Stadia game they’re watching and play alongside the main player. However, to do this you will need to have an active Stadia account with said game and compatible gamepad or mouse and keyboard.

Stadia has also been made available in eight more European countries: Austria, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, and Switzerland.
