TCL Introduces 10 Series Smartphones
April 7, 2020TCL has announced a trio of smartphones that cater to the needs and wants of a wide demographic. The TCL 10 5G serves as the company’s foray into the 5G market. It’s the only phone in the line up that offers 5G connectivity for budget minded consumers.
Sporting a contemporary look, the TCL 10 5G features a 6.53-inch FHD+ display and hole punch camera, giving way to a 91% screen-to-body ratio. At the back, the quad camera setup is aligned in a single row. Both the 10 Pro and 10L share a similar design.
The most powerful of the three, the TCL 10 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon 765G chip, 64MP main camera and the ability to charge other devices via OTG. It’s sleaker but less powerful sibling, the TCL 10 Pro features a 6.47-inch AMOLED curved glass display, and slightly better camera specs.

Due to the screen’s caliber, the Pro joins a select group of smartphones with the ability to watch Netflix with HDR10, allowing for a wider range of HDR content. Lower down the order, the TCL 10L is a watered down version of the 10 5G.

Aimed at budget conscious buyers, the 10L has a 6.53-inch display and the same 91% screen to body ratio as the 10 5G, glossy rear panel, stop motion video and a power efficient Snapdragon 665 chip. It may be considered as the lesser phone of the three, but you aren’t loosing out on much by opting for it.
The TCL 10 Pro comes in Ember Gray and Forest Mist Green. IT will made available in Europe, North America, Australia, and the United Kingdom starting in Q2 2020 for €449 EUR/$449 USD/£399 GBP/$899 AUD.
The TCL 10 L comes in Arctic White and Mariana Blue. It to will be made available in Europe, North America, Australia, and the United Kingdom starting in Q2 2020 for €249 EUR/$249 USD/£199 GBP/$499 AUD.
However, the top of the line model, the TCL 10 5G will only be made available to select markets later this year with a price tag of €399/£399.
