The Best Holiday Gifts For Pet Parents

Due to the pandemic, many pet owners have had to give up their pets, while others have adopted them as companion pets while they are at work. Moreover, natural disasters and other situations have separated pets from their owners, making it difficult for their owners to learn what happened to their pets. There is, however, a free website now offering pet owners the ability to connect online – including owners of dogs, cats, tropical birds and horses – at www.petparentsplace.com.

A website was created as a humanitarian project by Connie Bekavac. Ms. Bekavac adopts older rescue pets and often wonders whether their previous owners were interested in knowing what happened to their pet. The existence of www.petparentsplace.com allows past and present pet owners to connect directly with one another to repair broken hearts and give each other peace of mind about their pets. This website provides information about dogs, cats, horses, and birds for the entire country.

“Through our website, we are able to connect the parties. It gives the former owners the comfort of knowing their beloved pet is in a happy home while giving the new pet owners the opportunity to find out about any medical issues and other information about their new pet,” Bekavac said.

Accounts are created simply based on a user’s first name and email address. The pet owner then fills out the pet profile with all the information they have about their pet and uploads a photo. Additionally, the website provides links and information about pet resources, pet adoption, pet services and even a blog. You can use the site for free with no advertisements, but donations are welcomed and accepted, with 100% of profits going to rescue groups.

Pet Parents Place can also be found on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Tumblr.
