Samsung has just launched two new 4K laser projectors. Built with fabrics on their sides to match living room decors, the Premiere, is available as the 130” LSP9T and 120” LSP7T. The former, is said to be the world’s first projector with HDR10+ support and triple laser technology. And with a brightness of 2,800 ANSI lumens, should offer really good contrast in terms of picture quality.

They are more than just projectors, because they’re equipped with Filmmaker Mode and Samsung’s Smart TV technology. As such, they function just like any other smart TV, and have the same connectivity and mirroring support. But these are ultra-short-throw projector, which means that they can be placed directly in front of a wall that they are to project on.

Unlike conventional projectors that need to be placed at a certain distance from a wall, The Premiere offers a better level of convenience. The Premiere has powerful built-in woofers and Acoustic Beam surround sound, which should provide improved sound quality, negating the need for additional sound equipment in tighter spaces.

Both models of the Premiere are available to purchase in the U.S. at $6,499.99 (LSP9T) and$3,499.99 (LSP7T) respectively. They offer a cinematic experience for movie buffs who can appreciate this next-gen technology. That said, Samsung is constantly pushing the envelope of what’s possible by continually improving on these designs and their technology.
