Want To Know What’s Inside iPhone 12 Pro? : iFixit Has The Answer

Apple’s iPhone 12 Pro is a marked improvement over its predecessor. Not only does it have a more powerful chipset (A14 Bionic), but it does away with the horrendous 720P display for something that is a lot easier on the eyes. It’s design harkens back to the beloved iPhone 5, featuring machined aluminium with rounded corners and minimalist industrial look.

iFixit, everyone’s favorite teardown guru, has taken a crack at dissembling the iPhone 12 Pro to see what makes it tick. The device has been constructed quite well, but with the right tools and a good amount of persistence, they managed to pry open the new phone and inspect its individual components.

Most of the phone’s compact circuit boards are held down by several screws. The battery however, which also happens to be much smaller than last year’s device, seems to have been held in place with a great deal of adhesive, to prevent it from moving about.

Take a look at iFixit’s teardown video and let us know what you think of it. Do you feel that Apple has improved the way it constructs its current iPhones?
