AI Can Take Art And Use It To Create 3D Masterpieces

Artificial intelligence or AI technology is now part of our lives. It makes our phones smarter, cameras better and computers far more adept at handling complex tasks. Now, it’s making its way into art & culture. Artificial Paintings has developed the tech to make a piece of art better. It can create realistic 3D masterpieces from the original 2D artwork.

The new material can be viewed here. The technology came to be when the AI model was programmed to train on a new 3D dataset consisting of thousands of 3d Footage. This allows the AI algorithms to mix various art concepts and styles to produce results that are unique. Such an implementation is said to take the art scene to a whole new level.

“Can you imagine what will happen if you dare to stir the classic abstraction and sharp-cut 3D elements? What will be the outcome of adding computer-generated colors to the common ones? Creating something new, if not innovative, is always a great pleasure,” said Alex Solonsky, the founder of the project.

It’s amazing what AI can conjure up, by examining a completed 2D work of art, building on it, then producing something truly spectacular. Granted, this isn’t a substitute for a real-life artist, but it goes to show that AI is not far behind either.
