Apple Event On 20th April, New Hardware Expected
April 13, 2021Apple will be hosting an online event on April 20th, 2021. The company made this known by breaking the news on Apple.com. As was the case for previous post-COVID 19 Apple events, the online-only format is open to everyone. Rumor has it that Cupertino has set the stage for the release of new iPad and Macs, presumably the ones with ARM based chips.
It’s about time that Apple refreshes its iPad line up but most people will probably be more curious about the upcoming Mac refresh. The company’s transition toward ARM based processors has caused quite a stir. This is after its M1 chip blitzed past its Intel counterparts in various tasks.
The allure of the M1 is in its ability to punch above its weight. Even in its most basic form, the M1 allows the barebones Macbook Air to handle 4K video editing without any problem. This year Apple should be launching more powerful iterations for its higher end systems. This why many consumers are excited for the new machines.
