Cyberbullying is a never-ending problem for online users. The effects can be debilitating, which can also lead to several psychological and social problems. And incase you didn’t know, Instagram users have the necessary tools to help curb this kind of behavior.

Here’s what you have at your disposal:

Restrict
Users can restrict a person’s ability to comment on a post or send a direct message. People aren’t notified when you restrict them, so by using the Comment Control Settings limits can be set to reign in misconduct.

Report
Even if you aren’t a victim of cyberbullying, you can still play a part in ensuring that this kind of behavior isn’t tolerated on Instagram. If you see a post or comment that violates the Community Guidelines, report it to the Instagram team. No one will know that you’ve made the report including the offending person.
