Get To Know The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE

Samsung’s S23 FE is breath of fresh to those of us who appreciate excellent value devices. It follows the same recipe as its predecessor, the S21 FE – offering flagship level allure at an affordable price. The phone’s a close facsimile to the S23 Series, down to the svelte curves, aluminium frame, rear glass panel and protruding camera lenses.

It has a 6.4-inch, dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz display, which is about the same as what its predecessor had. Stretching edge-to-edge, the unit covers the entire front of the phone, making for a near bezel-less design. Depending on your region, the phone is powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200.

Though it carries last gen hardware, it should be powerful enough to handle anything you ask of it, thanks in part to the 8GB RAM. Granted it may not be able to be taken on as much as a phone with 12GB RAM, but it can still go head-to-head with the current crop of flagship phones.

In the camera department, the S23 FE gets a 50MP wide (with OIS), 8MP telephoto (3x optical zoom), and 12MP ultrawide sensors. At the front is a 10MP selfie camera. Samsung says that the new hardware allows for pro-grade camera features that help you capture great photos and video, which includes clear selfies and portrait shots at night.

The camera app features a Pro Mode, which lets you control shutter speed, aperture, ISO and more, manually. And by using the Camera Assistant app, you can choose automated features to help make the shooting experience a little more unique. Then, there’s the AI-powered editing tools that can “improve” on what you’ve already captured to ensure great resulting shots.

This phone is available to purchase today in Mint, Cream, Graphite and Purple. But you can get it in Indigo or Tangerine if you purchase the phone on Samsung.com.
