Grow With Google OnAir, Free Online Tools for Workforce

The dependence on offices or brick-and-mortar stores has proven detrimental to small and medium businesses during this crisis. The lockdowns put in force all over the world, to curb the spread of COVID-19, have shown the world that going online, is the best way forward.

That is why, Google is attempting to help companies and individuals to improve their digital skills. The Search giant has partnered with local libraries, schools and nonprofits to offer free tools and training to help people attain the proper skills for their jobs or businesses.

Called Grow with Google and launched in 2017, its a platform that allows the company to help US businesses to acquire the necessary skills to be good at their trade. Now, Grow with Google OnAir, Google is offering its tools and free programming online for everyone in the U.S. and Canada.

The program will offer digital skills training, interviews with career experts and programming from Google’s partners. Some of the training topics include “How to manage your business remotely in times of uncertainty” and “How to improve your resume with four practical strategies.”

In addition to this, those who have completed the Grow with Google OnAir workshops and require a more personalized experience can register for a free one-on-one session. This, the company says has the potential to help individuals and business reach new heights.

To date, Grow with Google has trained more than 4 million Americans on digital skills. And with the newly acquired skill set, they should be able to grow their business further. The Search Giant will also support its network of Digital Coaches scattered throughout the US to that they can continue to conduct virtual workshops in their communities.
