Infinix Launches Hot 50i At RM399

Infinix has launch the HOT 50i for Malaysia. It is meant to combine decent performance with sleek design sold at an accessible price point. This affordable phone comes with advanced features that benefit your photography, entertainment, and multitasking work.

The Infinix HOT 50i boasts a large 6.7-inch HD+ punch-hole display that offers a good visual experience for users who enjoy streaming, gaming, or browsing. It supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and more fluid transitions, making everything from playing games to watching videos, a more visually appealing experience.

Infinix claims the device offers a 90.2% screen-to-body ratio, ensuring that the display covers almost the entire front, giving users a more immersive viewing experience.

Weighing just 184g, the HOT 50i is lightweight, slim, and easy to hold, making it easy to carry while on-the-go. It comes in three colours: Sleek Black, Titanium Grey, and Sage Green—that are meant to reflect sophistication and style at the same time.

The device’s slim profile of 8.1mm makes it easy to hold despite the large screen size. Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, that Infinix says ensures good performance and efficiency. The octa-core processor consists of two high-performance 2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 cores and six power-efficient 1.7 GHz Cortex-A55 cores.

In terms of its storage, the HOT 50i offers two variants: 128GB with 6GB of RAM, and 256GB with 4GB of RAM. It supports expandable memory of up to 2TB with a microSD card.

The Infinix HOT 50i has a 48MP rear camera with an f/1.79 aperture that’s is supposed to deliver sharp, detailed images, even in low-light conditions. It’s equipped with dual flashes, making night-time photography more vivid and dynamic.

Users can take advantage of a wide range of photography modes, including portrait, panorama, slow motion, and super night mode, which provide diverse ways to capture shots. Additionally, the 8MP front camera, with an f/2.0 aperture, should provide acceptable results for video calls or social media posts.

Both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording 1080p video at 30 frames per second. The inclusion of AI-powered photography enhancements allow users to capture decent images with minimal effort, making the HOT 50i a good choice for budding photographers and content creators alike.

Battery life is one of the standout features of the Infinix HOT 50i. It’s equipped with a 5000mAh battery, that supports 18W fast charging.

The device is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual SIM support, allowing for flexibility when managing multiple numbers or carriers.

The phone also features Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS. At the bottom there a Type-C USB port that supports OTG (on-the-go) for external device connectivity.
