Infinix Launches ZERO 40 5G Boasts Superior Cameras & AI Capabilities

This sleek yet capable phone is equipped with a 50MP Ultra-Wide front and rear cameras and a 108MP OIS rear main camera, powered by the ProStable video capabilities. For the first time, Infinix has partnered with GoPro, expanding outdoor exploration possibilities. The device offers vibrant colouroptions, featuring a signature shade called Violet Garden. Notably, Violet Garden was developed in collaboration with the global trend forecasting authority, WGSN.
The device also boasts a 3D-curved AMOLED display, an industry-leading chip in its segment, up to 24GB Extended RAM, supports 45W Super Charge, and upgrades to Android 16 with 3-Year Security Patch Updates. Fully AI-enabled, it includes advanced tools for photo and video editing, a voice assistant, and more.
The ZERO 40 5G features a front-facing 50MP camera with support for 4K 60FPS Ultra-HD recordings. Due to OIS+EIS ProStable video capabilities, it ensures stable image capture for both photos and videos. The rear camera provides 4K clarity, along with 108MP OIS. It also features a 120° Ultra-Wide lens with a 50MP sensor at a main camera level, marking the first time Infinix has used a 50MP Ultra-Wide angle lens.
PDAF (Phase Detection AutoFocus) guarantees sharp, high-quality content every time. During a recording, three microphones provide precise directional sound capture and effective noise reduction, delivering a decent sound experience.
Vlog Mode makes vlog creation simple and enjoyable. Users can instantly create a vlog by tapping a button and following the prompts. When working with multiple materials, they can choose from templates in the album, and the ZERO 40 5G will automatically detect highlights to craft a vlog with one tap.
Infinix’s partnership with GoPro ensures seamless connectivity with GoPro devices. With GoPro Mode, users can directly adjust GoPro device parameters. The phone can also serve as a monitor, enabling real-time observation and adjustment of GoPro footage.

The display has a peak brightness of 1300 nits, a 10,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and High Brightness Mode, ensuring clarity even in outdoor settings. The ZERO 40 5G is equipped with the D8200 Ultimate 5G Processor, supporting up to 256GB of storage and 24GB of extended RAM. It also boasts a 5000mAh high-capacity battery with 45W wired fast charging, reaching up to 60% charge in just 25 minutes. Theres also support for 20W wireless fast charging and 10W wired reverse charging to power other devices. Infinix’s Extreme-Temp Tech ensures that the ZERO 40 5G can charge at 2.5W even at temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius, making it ideal for snowy environments.
As one of the first smartphones to integrate Google Gemini, the ZERO 40 5G introduces an AI Assistant that offers powerful features like script writing, translation, search, and summarisation. AI-generated wallpapers bring a touch of personalization, while AI audio noise reduction ensures crystal-clear call quality. JBL Joint Tuning optimises the phone’s sound for an immersive audio experience. The Infinix ZERO 40 5G will be available in Malaysia from today onwards, at RM1,699 for its 12GB+256GB variant in Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and Rock Black.
