Jet Bot AI+: It’s A Very Smart Vacuum Cleaner And Pet Monitor

It’s a smart vacuum that not only looks good, but is able to systematically clean your house whilst keeping an eye on your pet’s wellbeing. In fact, it can scan your daily behavioral pattern in order to build a cleaning schedule around it.
This level of intelligence is a necessary improvement over conventional robot vacuums to reduce the need for human intervention. The Jet Bot AI+ scans the room and other structures to decide on the best course of action. Samsung says that this allows the device to clean a room similar to a human.
Its LiDAR sensor canvases the entire house to build a map. Once it has learned the entire layout, the AI then identifies the optimal path to accomplish to efficiently vacuum the home. The built-in object-recognition camera, which is trained to recognize more than a million objects, works with the 3D sensor to detect obstacles and maneuver past them without affecting its job.
Samsung says that it was meticulous in the design and placement of the Jet Bot AI+’s various sensors and fitments. The LiDAR sensor is placed at the rear and protrudes slightly and the triangular front bumper has an efficiently arranged brush, distance sensor and electric wheels to allow for a more efficient way of vacuuming an area.
Unlike conventional robot vacuums, the Jet Bot AI+ is able to operate without human intervention, which includes its ability to empty its own dustbin. Once it feels that your home has been cleaned efficiently, it scurries off to its Clean Station to empty the trash that it has collected. The point here is to completely offload vacuuming chores to the AI and not feel any remorse about it.
Samsung says that the Jet Bot AI+ behaves more human-like with its less abrupt lighting system and its ability to look from side to side when examining the home. The company says, “The 22 delicately designed lighting animations intuitively and expressively inform users of the robot’s status.”
The onboard Bixby Voice Assistant has also been toned to offer more warmth when conversing with you. It can relay functions and information relating to cleaning when needed. It can also monitor your pets at home and inform you if there is a change in their behavior. The system can record their movements, so you’re aware of what they’re up to in your absence.
Last but not least is the Jet Bot AI+’s ability to communicate with other connected devices in your home. For instance, it can lower the temperature and lighting if necessary, especially if your pet becomes anxious for some reason. Samsung has designed it to be an all-in-one cleaning solution that aims to take the tedium of vacuuming away from you.
