Angry Birds 2 flies to AppGallery

The leading global technology company, Huawei, has announced that Angry Birds 2, the world’s most popular video game from Rovio, will be integrated into its rapidly expanding App Gallery.

“We are building partnerships with some of the world’s leading game developers and as we introduce our vast user base to more game studios and developers, confidence will be growing among them,” said Derek Yu, President of Huawei Consumer Business Group.

Angry Birds 2 distinctive branding will be made available Huawei users as downlodable content for their phones in the near future, including dedicated Huawei Themes and Angry Birds 2 watch faces that will be available on Huawei smartwatches and bands.

As part of Huawei’s support for Angry Birds 2, a range of promotions and offers will be offered along with activities on its social media channels, which reach players in more than 170 countries.

According to Miikka Lindgren, VP of Business Development at Rovio, “We are excited that Angry Birds 2 will now be available to millions more gamers around the world through our partnership with AppGallery. It is always an honor when our games reach new audiences.”

AppGallery has 540 million monthly active users, making it one of the world’s fastest-growing app marketplaces. It partners with leading brands and game developers, such as Rovio, whose games are influential worldwide.

More than 4 million developers are registered with Huawei, and Huawei is constantly adding content to its platform, with over 134,000 apps integrated into Huawei’s proprietary platform for mobile services, HMS.
