Lenovo Ranked Most Admired Company

Lenovo has been named as one of the World’s Most Admired Companies by Fortune Magazine. The Chinese Electronics giant was chosen from a list of global companies from 52 different industries, with revenues of $10 billion or more.

The company was one of eight from a group of 15, in the ‘computer industry’ sub category that was recognized as “Most Admired”. It scored top marks for its quality management and global competitiveness too.

Fortune employs a unique methodology to identify its list of companies. It shortlists 1,000 largest U.S. companies and 500 non-U.S. ones with annual revenues over $10 billion. Then, to determine the most admired ones, execs, directors and analysts are asked to rate them.

Apple, for the the 13th straight year, has claimed the top spot in Fortune’s annual ranking of ‘corporate reputation’, based on a survey of 3,800 executives, directors and analysts. Amazon and Microsoft trailed Apple in the Top 50 list. Take look at said list and let us know what you think!
