New GTA Online DLC To Feature Dr. Dre And Several Other High-Profile Additions

Rockstar is gearing to release a new DLC for Grand Theft Auto V this December 15th. Called “The Contract” it’s the latest in the long line of “expansions” to the GTA Online world. The previous update, Lost Santos Tuners saw the introduction of the vehicle meet & underground street racing scene. It was a welcomed departure from what we have witnessed in the past.

The Contract however, seems to retain the recipe that harkens back to the original DLCs. It features Franklin, one of the three protagonists in the GTA V single player game (story mode), who has risen from a life of petty crime to constructing his own “celebrity solutions agency”.

Named F. Clinton and Partners, players can join Franklin and his team to cater to the Vinewood elite and help them solve their high-society problems. His team consists of his partners in-crime Lamar, Chop the Dog and expert hacker Imani. Similar to the Diamond Casino heist DLC and the like, you and your crew can accept agency work and various other choice hits to amass your wealth.

The premise of the latest DLC is intertwined with a previous one – the Cayo Perico Heist. During the opening scene at the Los Santos Airport, when you are about to embark on the plane ride to Cayo Perico, the infamous Dr. Dre and his crew seem to be doing the same. However, at the last minute they cancel due the hip hop mogul’s misplaced phone. Based on their dissatisfaction in the cut scene, we know that it contains important information like unreleased songs.

Well, in the latest DLC, your mission is to secure Dr. Dre’s precious tracks and return them to their rightful owner. Like the expansions that preceded it, The Contract will see a whole host of new additions to the GTA Online gameplay which include but is not limited to the following:
