OPPO A78 5G Launch Brings Optimal Performance To Everyone

OPPO has launched the new A78 5G in Malaysia, which delivers improvements in battery and charging capabilities. With its dual stereo speakers and smooth performance all-around, the A78 5G offers an immersive entertainment experience. A78 5G has the iconic OPPO Glow and comes with ColorOS 13.
Charging Technology
With 33W SUPERVOOCTM Flash Charge, the A78 5G’s long-lasting 5,000mAh battery can be charged from 0% to 100% in 67 minutes and provides up to 22.85 hours of phone calls on a full charge. The A78 5G also includes a series of All-Day AI Power Saving features to help users intelligently manage their battery performance and boost overall battery life.
The Camera
The main camera is 50MP whereby users are able to capture high-resolution images, on the front are the 2MP and 8MP sensors for high-quality portraits. For those who love to record the moments, the A78 5G’s 108MPUltra-Clear Image uses software algorithms to increase the resolution of images to 108MP, providing an impressive level of clarity. The A78 5G also features a set of smart imaging features like AI Portrait Retouching, AI Scene Enhancement, and Ultra Night Mode to help unleash user creativity.
As a result of Dual Stereo Speakers and Real Original Sound Technology, A78 5G offers users a more immersive surround sound experience. Users can also increase the speaker volume up to 200% with Ultra Volume Mode, ensuring clear sound even in noisy environments. On the visual side, the 6.56-inch Colour-Rich Display with a 90Hz high refresh rate delivers a smooth and comfortable visual experience for all video and gaming content.
The Design and Hardware
The A78 5G has a fresh-looking “fashion-forward” design. It is available in two colours: Glowing Purple and Glowing Black. The A78 5G weighs about 188g and measures just 7.99 mm in thickness.
The A78 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 700 platform and provides powerful 5G performance on the A78 5G with its efficient Octa-Core Processor. With 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM configuration, the A78 5G provides plenty of memory and storage space for everyday use and supports up to 1TB SD card expansion.
The ColorOS 13, has improved in efficiency as well as security whereby users multitask and Three-Finger Translate with Google Lens to translate text in the chosen area of a screenshot. When it comes to privacy, Photo Information Protection lets users quickly erase photo and video metadata to prevent sensitive private data from being accidentally leaked.
Availability
The OPPO A78 5G will be available in Glowing Purple and Glowing Black from 14th January in Malaysia. The 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM model will be priced at RM1099 at all My OPPO Space, OPPO Brand Stores, OPPO Official Online Store, OPPO Authorised Online Store, Chain Store Partners, E-comm partners and telco partners such as Maxis and U-mobile.
