OPPO will provide a developer preview of ColorOS based on Android 13 Beta 1 so that developers can get a closer look at the new features and changes that will be introduced with the new update. The Find X5 Pro will be the first device from OPPO to get the new Google Android 13 Beta 1 update.

“OPPO has been working closely with Google for many years, and our ColorOS based on Google’s Android operating system gives you the best operating experience possible,” said Andy Wu, OPPO Vice President and President of Find Product Line.

The new Android 13 version offers new APIs to help developers create better apps, focusing on privacy and security. It features new privacy features such as notification permission photo picker, themed app icons, quick setting tile placement, as well as Bluetooth LE audio and MIDI over USB.

With beta 1, you now have more permissions for media files, improved audio routing APIs, and more. ColorOS is based on Android 13 Beta 1 and can be downloaded and tested by developers here.
