Recent Websites Improves Continuity Between Galaxy Devices & PCs

Samsung wants to make transitioning between smartphone and PC for browsing related tasks as seamless as possible. This is where Microsoft Phone Link comes in to allow for better continuity between Windows and your Galaxy devices. The new “Recent Websites” feature takes that a step further.

Available to users via an update to the Microsoft Phone Link app, it allows Samsung smartphone users to continue their browsing sessions while moving from smartphone to PC. It’s a feature that might come in handy when you have multiple tabs open and switching between them becomes a little inconvenient on your phone screen.

Samsung says that the feature helps users to pick up where they left off regardless of which machine they are on. What you were viewing earlier on your smartphone such as search terms or browsing history are readily accessible on your linked PC.

To use Recent Websites, you’ll need to link your Galaxy smartphone to PC through Link to Windows on your phone and the Microsoft Phone Link App on your PC. Once done and when switching between smartphone and PC, launch the app and select the websites on the list, which will take you directly to what you want.

The Korean electronics giant claims that it wants to make multi-tasking and switching between machines be as seamless as possible. At the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event taking place on Feb 1st, 10AM PST, we’ll be able to hear more about the company’s efforts to push multi-device connectivity technology even further.

Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event will be streamed live Samsung Malaysia YouTube, Samsung Malaysia Official Website, Samsung Malaysia Facebook and Samsung Malaysia Newsroom.
