Samsung And Netflix Create Stranger Things Short Film

Samsung has teamed up with video streaming giant, Netflix to produce a short film called Make Stranger Nights Epic. It’s a promotional video meant to highlight the S22 Ultra’s nighttime photo & video taking abilities while paying homage to the popular series, Stranger Things. It’s one of several collaborative efforts by the two companies to draw in views and customers.

In this particular instance, the film opens with a young girl and her friends cycling down an ill-lit street as they make their way to a watch party. In the girl’s back pocket is a Samsung S22 Ultra that has its camera app inadvertently turned on.

It captures footage of strange creatures emerging from the darkness at various points during the group’s journey. The objective here, is to portray the prowess of the S22 Ultra’s rear camera system, especially the 108MP main sensor. The combination of a powerful sensor and artificial intelligence, means that it’s able to capture great content, even in poor lighting conditions.

In January, Samsung and Netflix released a similar short film meant to promote the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G and kick off the second season of the popular Netflix series, Emily in Paris. Then, a month later the duo created a Bridgerton short film to unveil the Galaxy S22 Series at Unpacked event.

Stranger Things 4 volume two should drop on July 1st, check it on Netflix once it becomes available for viewing in your region.
