Odyssey Neo G9
The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitor has a 1000R curved 57” screen with a 7,680×2,160 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate and a 32:9 aspect ratio. It uses quantum mini-LED technology to deliver good image quality for gaming environments.

Its matte display surface reduces light reflections in order not to distract users, especially during gaming sessions. This is also supposed to be the world’s first DisplayPort 2.1 supported monitor, which offers twice the data transfer speeds of DisplayPort 1.4. There’s also lossless industry-standard Display Stream Compression (DSC) to transmit information without distortion.

Odyssey OLED G9
This is the latest addition to the Odyssey model lineup and features a dual quad-HD 49-inch, 1800R curved display with an aspect ratio of 32:9. It’s quantum dot technology OLED screen individually controls each pixel, which helps achieve a near-infinite color contrast ratio.

OLED screens also do not rely on a backlight, which allows for a 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and delivers true RGB with true blacks without color filters. The 240Hz refresh rate monitor also offers a 0.1ms response time to ensure that there’s no lagging or skipping of its video feed.

Thanks to the inclusion of Smart Hub, the OLED G9 is a little smarter than conventional monitors, allowing you to access apps like Prime Video, YouTube and Netflix without the aid of a PC or similar machine.

It also supports Samsung Gaming Hub, which is a game streaming platform that allows users to play games in the cloud from services like Xbox and NVIDIA GeForce Now without the need for an actual gaming console.

ViewFinity S9
Samsung’s ViewFinity S9 has a 5K, 27-inch screen that is geared towards creative types like graphic designers and photographers. The monitor offers a 5,120 x 2,880 resolution and a color gamut of 99% DCI-P3 as well as an average Delta E ≦ 2[1] color accuracy. Samsung says it offers clear and precise color representation to properly work with detailed visual work.

The monitor’s built-in color calibration engine helps produce precise screen color and brightness, helping users adjust white balance, Gamma and RGB color balance with greater accuracy with their smartphones via the smart calibration application.

It too has a matte display to limit distracting glare while working. Through the use of its USB-C and 4 Thunderbolt connections, users can connect cameras and other devices to transfer large files from storage devices to their computers.

This monitor also comes with a 4K SlimFit camera that supports native video conferencing on apps like Google Meet, which are included in the Samsung Smart Hub.

Samsung is introducing a new 27-inch, 4K model to its M8 smart monitor line-up. It comes in four different colors: Daylight Blue, Spring Green, Sunset Pink, or Warm White.

It has a height-adjustable stand with tilt support and allows the screen to pivot 90-degress. This, the company says helps users view is VESA mount compatible, so you can have it fitted to third party stands or wall mounts.

Since it’s a smart monitor, the M8 can manage and control compatible connected devices like lights, cameras, thermostats and others through the bult-in SmartThings Hub. Mouse control functionality has been added to its supported smart apps.

Like its larger cousins, the M8 also supports Smart Hub and Samsung Gaming Hub, which allows users to stream video content as well as games without the need for an actual gaming console. When in Standby mode, the M8 can still detect registered smartphones through low-power Bluetooth. It then shows users’ personalized photos and more on screen.
