Samsung Bespoke Jet Vacuum Empties Its Own Dustbin

Samsung has released a new handheld, portable vacuum cleaner called the Bespoke Jet. It replaces the Jet90 and is similar to the Jet70 that we reviewed in 2020. The device is 47% lighter, has a superior digital inverter motor, offers more effective cleaning, and uses a multi-layered filtration system that offers an improved level of hygiene.

The Bespoke Jet generates up to 210W of suction power and its multi-cyclone structure ensures only clean air is released during use. It’s jet cyclone creates an optimal air path to reduce air resistance and minimize the loss of suction when vacuuming. This is done to trap fine dust particles that are sucked by the machine.

Its main cyclone separates large dust particles, which are picked up in a metal mesh grille filter. A micro filter catches fine dust particles, and a fine dust filter traps micro dust. All these parts and filters are washable and easy to keep clean. Samsung says that this vacuum can be used for both hard floors and carpets.

An upgraded Spray Spinning Sweeper supplied with the vacuum features dual spinning wet pads that rotate for up to 1100 minutes, which is supposed to offer stable and effective cleaning. There’s also a 150ml water tank, which allows users to manually spray water when needed.

Weighing 1.44kg, Samsung says that its light enough to maneuver around the top of cabinets, tables, window blinds and other hard to reach places. The included battery pack can last for about an hour before needing to be recharged. It can be swapped out for a freshly charged one, for extended vacuuming needs. Said battery can retain 70% of its capacity after 500 cycles.

When docked to the cleaning station, the vacuum automatically begins charging while its dustbin is also automatically emptied without any particles or debris escaping to the air around you. This is made possible through the system’s Air Pulse tech, which ensures a more hygienic cleaning process.

The Bespoke Jet features an LCD display that provides useful information on suction levels, remaining battery time as well as potential problems such as clogging, objects stuck in the brush, or missing filters. Said display also provides guides on how to fix a pending problem.

Samsung’s Bespoke Jet comes in 3 colors: Midnight Blue, Misty White and Woody Green. If you’re interested, the device will be available to purchase starting in January 2022 in Southeast Asia, Europe, and March in the U.S.
