Samsung Galaxy A52 Unboxing: What Do You Get?
March 28, 2021Samsung’s new A52 is a breath of fresh air. In stark contrast too its predecessor the A51, this year’s phone gets a matte colour scheme and a subdued overlapping between the camera array and the rear shell. It portrays an understated look, which should be to the liking of those who appreciate subtlety.
Unlike the S21 Series, the A52 gets a standard size box that is similar to that of the A51 launched last year. What is different however, is the color markings on the box. The words Galaxy A52 that emblazon the left side is printed to match the color of the phone that is inside – it’s a nice touch.
Since we have an Awesome Blue one, the words are coloured the same way. It’s these little things that adds a personal touch to the entire unboxing experience. And in certain instances, helps avoid misunderstandings during the purchasing process.
Now, once we open the box, we are greeted by the A52. It’s wrapped in protective plastic, which can be removed with a single pull of the tab at the top. Unlike the ‘shouty’ appearance of the A51, its successor features a toned down feel to it. It looks quite cool and the matte finish will help hide those pesky fingerprints.
Besides the phone, you also get a USB Type-C cable as well as a 15W fast charging brick. Thankfully, Samsung’s mid-range phones have been spared from the “fat trimming” process that the S21 Series underwent. That said, the A52 supports 25W fast charging but not the 15W wireless fast charging, that we mistakenly mentioned.
However, the wired earphones have been omitted from the A52’s packaging. This may be Samsung’s way of nudging buyers toward the idea of ditching the cord and joining the wireless revolution. We have reviewed the company’s latest and greatest wireless earbuds: Galaxy Buds Pro. Take a look at it and let us know what you think.
We have been testing the A52 extensively this past week and should be able to tell you what we think of it in the coming days. Stay tuned for the in depth review.
