Samsung Introduces 2000s Themed Accessories

Samsung is launching an interesting selection of nostalgic themed phone accessories that it calls the Y2K 4eva collection. They feature artwork of popular trends from the 2000s, and are exclusively designed for the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Buds3 series, including special designs in collaboration with Paul Frank and MILO.

Accessories in the Y2K 4eva collection range from phone cases with animated cover screen wallpapers for the Galaxy Z Flip6, Buds case for the Galaxy Buds3 series, Griptoks, and sticker sheets.

The company says that based on a study by GWI, Y2K era pop culture has been making a resurgence as Millennials and Generation Z (Gen Zs) continue to hold on to memories of that era. They are also adding their own twist creating a retro futurism style that blends the past with the current styles.

As part of this year’s Y2K 4eva collection, Samsung has collaborated with Paul Frank to feature designs set in Planned Pines, a utopian universe, adorned with Paul Frank’s beloved Julius the Monkey.

Samsung has also collaborated with MILO to create a uniquely designed phone case that is reminiscent of a recess favourite and a generational household staple.

For many, the love for MILO often begins at childhood – the iconic cocoa malt beverage for a school morning breakfast. This collaboration celebrates the timeless joy that MILO brings, connecting with fans who grew up loving MILO. The iconic MILO tin featured in the phone design pays homage to the heritage that remains a staple in many homes.

From 23 November 2024 to 31 December 2024, customers who purchase a Galaxy Z Flip6 at selected Samsung Experience Stores at The Exchange TRX, Pavillion Bukit Bintang and The Gardens, will also receive a free Galaxy Z Flip6 casing.

Customers are also eligible for one free unit of Buds Case with any purchase of Galaxy Buds3 or Buds3 Pro if they purchase their device at the same locations.

The free phone case or Buds case are limited to one (1) unit per eligible Customer, with purchase of the Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Buds3, Galaxy Buds3 Pro at selected Samsung Experience Stores.
