Samsung’s New Flagship Laptops Are Here
February 5, 2023Contrary to popular belief, Samsung isn’t just a smartphone maker. The company is also known for building some really good laptops. During the latest unpacked event for the new Galaxy S23 series phones, a trio of new Galaxy Books also made their debut. These new models are meant to cater to a wide range of audience from creative professionals to regular PC users.
There’s a Galaxy Book3 Ultra, the flagship of the line up, followed by the Galaxy Book3 Pro and Book3 Pro 360 5G. The Ultra and Pro feature a slim clamshell design that’s great for mobility without compromising performance. The former features either a Core i7 or i9 processor that can be configured with a Nvidia RTX 4070 or 4050 laptop GPU
The Pro gets either a Core i5 or i7 but has to make to with Intel iris X graphics. The same is true of the Book3 Pro 360 but in terms of functionality it has a little more to offer. That’s because it has a 2-in-1 form factor allowing it to be a traditional laptop but when needed, transforms into a tablet. It also supports the use of a stylus.
All three devices get a 3K, dynamic AMOLED display that is supposed to offer crip images and deep blacks in the same way most of Samsung’s flagship smartphones do.

Samsung is pushing all three as an all-in-one solution through the use of Link to Windows/Microsoft Phone Link. It’s a productivity app that allows you to access and use your phone from a connected Windows PC. Recent Websites help you pick up where you left by making your recent browsing history accessible on your smartphone and the linked computer.
Other notable mentions are Instant Hotspot, which simplifies the task of connecting to wireless connections and Samsung Multi Control allows you to control a Galaxy smartphone and tablet with the Book3. The latter also enables you to copy, paste or drag and drop files between devices. Second Screen, turns any Galaxy Tab into a second screen for your PC.
The Galaxy Book3 Ultra is available in Graphite, but the Galaxy Book3 Pro and 360 will be available in Graphite and Beige. The Galaxy Book3 Pro, and Pro 360 will be available in certain markets starting on February 17, while the Galaxy Book3 Ultra will be available starting on February 22. Sadly, none of these machines will be making it to Malaysia.
