Sony GP-VPT2BT Wireless Remote
January 16, 2020Sony has added another gadget to a photographer’s arsenal. It’s called the GT-VPT2BT and its a shooting grip that comes with a wireless remote. This little thing makes light work of vlogging and photography sessions, allowing budding YouTubers to focus on the important stuff.
It’s of a slim and compact design, which makes it easy to carry. There aren’t any external cables to worry about though, and when needed, this shooting grip can be transformed into a tripod by expanding its bottom portion.
Compared to the older stuff, this new device has better features that help with stabilization while recording. This allows for more fluidic panning and close up shots, something that can be challenging to accomplish when in some environments.
It has bluetooth support, a lock switch and light indicator. Also, it’s compatible with Sony’s latest fleet of cameras. But, to be sure, it would be prudent to check to make sure that your current gear is supported.
Users can shoot at precise angles with the help of the angle adjustment feature. And when needed, the shooting grip can be used to enable selfie mode. Despite its size, and when palced in the right hands, this little gadget could prove to be very useful.
